Y’all remember that show called The Bloodhound Gang that was on PBS in the 80’s. It came on with 3-2-1 contact.
One of my earliest crushes was on
Nan-Lynn Nelson,I always remember her hair being in afro puffs though. I always thought her character Vikki was so smart and articulate and her skin was so smooth and pretty, in that special way that only dark skinned girls can be. Kinda rich and deep all at the same time like a good chocolate cake batter. Light skinned girls y’all pretty too, but I know y’all know what I’m talkin’ about, dark skin that you can get lost in cause it is so flawless.
I guess I still have a crush on
Ms Nan-Lynn. I always thought she was the leader of the gang and she certainly was the smartest one. It was one of my favorite shows growing up. I was lucky to see an image of a smart black girl on tv instead of the smart-mouth black girls I was bombarded with. Anyway here is the rest of the episode.

I had a crush on the Puerto Rican dude from The Bloodhound Gang, Marcelino Sánchez. I found out that he had been dead for nearly 20 years by the time I got around to googling him.
Funny how these things work.
